Who is BIG?

We are part of a non-profit, 501(3) National Organization that has over 200 chapters across the United States and overseas comprised of federal, state and local government employees. BIG promotes equality, excellence and opportunity at all levels. BIG provides advocacy, training, networking, scholarships, mentor programs, STEM & Oratorical competitions, as well as leadership development. We are open to all ethnicities.

Featured member

Ms. Shanina Guyton is our featured member.  She has been an instrumental members of the RFBJ Chapter of BIG. Hailing from Chicago, IL Ms. Guyton is employed by the US Army as a 68W Combat Medic. Ms. Guyton is also pursuing her Graduate Degree in Public Health. When she is not serving her country she spends numerous hours dedicating herself to the RFBJ Chapter of BIG, Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority's My Sister's Keeper committee and volunteering at Habitat for Humanity.  Ms. Guyton is currently serving as the chapter's Communication and Public Relations lead and has transformed our chapters online presence to the world!  She has created a new website, Facebook, Instagram and twitter for us. She is also working towards ensuring that our chapter is posted on various professional organizations websites. This is only the beginning of what she has to offer.  She is definitely one to watch out for!
